Before the record books, a boy in Bowral sharpened his reflexes with a stump, a golf ball and a curved brick stand.

Bradman rose from country New South Wales into the Australian side in 1928. His compact footwork, speed of scoring and appetite for long innings changed what elite batting could look like.

The Bodyline series tested him, war interrupted him, and age followed, yet the numbers barely yielded. He retired in 1948 as captain of the unbeaten Invincibles and the permanent measure for every great batter after him.

MAKE THE
IMPOSSIBLE MEASURABLE.

Bradman's legacy is not simply that he led his era. It is that his distance from every other elite Test batter still resists ordinary comparison.
