Glasgow produced a forward whose intelligence connected Celtic tradition, Liverpool dominance, and Scotland’s national story.

Dalglish won four Scottish leagues with Celtic before succeeding Kevin Keegan at Liverpool and becoming the creative centre of an even more successful era.

His shielding, quick combinations, and calm finishing delivered European and domestic titles. As player-manager, he added the 1986 Double while still influencing matches.
