Jaromir Jagr carried Czech hockey identity through an extraordinary NHL career and international championship moments.

Pittsburgh drafted Jagr in 1990 and immediately placed him beside a remarkable generation of talent. Stanley Cups in his first two NHL seasons were only the opening act; he became a leading scorer in his own right.

His career always retained a connection to Kladno and his national team. Olympic gold in Nagano and world championship gold in 2005 completed the Triple Gold Club, while his NHL record stood at 1,921 regular-season points.
