Origin
and identity

Gabi Guimarães brings attacking invention, reception and determined defence to the outside-hitter position, with success for Brazil and leading European clubs.

Gabi made her Olympic debut in Rio and later helped Brazil win silver in Tokyo. Her game combines a range of attacking angles with the first-contact skills needed to keep a team in system.

World Championship silver in 2022 and Olympic bronze in Paris extended that international story. Her club career brought Champions League and Club World Championship titles, while her leadership grew into the Brazilian captaincy.
