Les Ulis produced a forward whose pace was obvious and whose creative intelligence proved just as decisive.

Henry emerged at Monaco, passed briefly through Juventus, and was transformed at Arsenal from wide player into a record-breaking forward.

His signature left-channel run and far-corner finish joined elite scoring to chance creation. With France and Barcelona he added the game’s largest international and club honours.
